NO GOSSIPS, PREACH THE GOSPEL!

Hi Fam, welcome to my blog post. I trust the month has been greattt. I personally think this has been the most perfectly numbered January all my life, what happened to 62 days a month? Cos man this was pretty fast😂. Well I’m excited, especially about February. It’s my birth-month and for the first 14 days something hooge is coming on this blog page everyone of those days. Anticipatee 💃🕺

Today I have great news for us and it’s something that came to me last week while I studied a book in Proverbs. Grab your seats, brunch is served!

Proverbs 26:20 holds a very profound message for God’s children and I will be sharing what it says in two Bible versions.

Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops. (NLT).

Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases. (NKJV).

This passage holds a very true statement. The only reason why news is news, or why anything trends is because some people take it upon themselves to rebroadcast those details. If no one was talking about an event or a person, then they would get no publicity. So like the fire would go out without wood to keep it burning, so also good news or news capable of causing strife would cease without a talebearer.

I personally think, (and I believe the scripture agrees with me), that since gossips have the ability to sustain quarrels then it’s not something any believer should be found doing. I had a little temptation to write any ‘responsible believer’, but really being a believer puts on you a great deal of responsibilities which make you responsible 😌.

What’s your responsibility?

Every believer has a paramount responsibility, and a tale which they already should be bearing, and that is the gospel! There’s no better or greater news than the gospel, but sadly we don’t always prioritize it as we ought to. If we did, we wouldn’t have as many people majoring in the minor and bearing tales that lead to strife.

If we know the abundance of grace and fullness of life the sacrifice of Christ has given us, and the wrath from which we have been saved, the news of what Christ has done would be ever burning on our lips. We’d tell it on the mountains, over the hills and everywhere. We’d loudly proclaim that the son of man who was crucified, got all the bruises that our iniquities were deserving of and he rose again to give us victory! That death has lost its grip on us and no one should be living under the power of sin and death any longer.

This is the good news believer, and it’s the one tale you’re mandated to bear. In proclaiming this to men, you’re breaking the shackles of death over their lives.

Never be busy bearing tales that lead to strife. You have good news on your lips and you have been given the authority to proclaim it. Go tell it on the mountains!

I hope this blessed you and I pray Great grace for you to boldly walk in God’s calling.

See you in February 🤭❤️ Lovesssss❤️❤️

Cos seeing my smile is good news too🤭❤️
