Christmas & Legends.

Hello Fam!

Welcome to my blog post for this week. Since it’s Christmas I decided to make this quite exciting by sharing some of my very special Christmas moments. Also the comments session is very open and I want to read as much Christmas moments from you as I can 🥺 xoxo! Let’s get into itt>>>>

I’ll start out with the Legend I am when it comes to Christmas. I am the ‘Plucker and Divider of Freshly Killed Chicken’. I couldn’t find a better title, but for ages I have records of being the best when it comes to appropriately dividing the chicken into parts and sorting everything out. I missed out on this for the past two Christmases, but this year I got to do it again and it came with nostalgia.🥺 I love salads too the making and the eating, and at home, legend has it that where there’s salad there must be a Sandra😌.

In all my years Christmas has been the best holiday for me. One thing that keeps me the happiest is the joy it comes with. The mention of Christmas is enough to lighten up a room. Lately however, I have prayed and hoped that the love didn’t only last on Christmas day but went through all the years.

I’ve seen arguing neighbours mend fences on Christmas day. I’ve seen tough ones smile on Christmas. But all I really want for Christmas is that the Spirit it brings fills men so much that they just know to love whether it’s Christmas or not, and that we realize that we don’t need a holiday to know we ought to love. How blissful that would be ✨✨.

To the Christmas story I choose to share 🤭>> Okay! I think it was 2011 and this year the Christmas spirit I had was ginger to work. I woke up early, volunteered for every task at home😅 Later on I had to go out with my Dad to get the drinks, chicken, and other necessaries. I felt like a boy that day, I in fact believe I was.

I had ginger for two that day, and for the very first time I carried a live chicken. It was really a big deal for me, and as I held the chicken I thought to my 11-year old self that I was sooo going to kill the chicken once we got home. It was a beautiful moment actually, so much zeal and Christmas vibe. Long story short, I didn’t kill the chicken and maybe that will happen next year but I was so happy to have been very much involved in the Christmas busyness that year.

Over the years, Christmas has gotten better and I celebrate with greater understanding of the reason for the season each year. It’s awesome and amazing how much beauty comes with the gift of salvation. Everyday makes it an even bigger miracle that the child Jesus’ life was lived all for mankind’s salvation. He’s a king I Stan!

I guess this is a good place to draw my Christmas inspired post to a close😊. I wish you a goal smashing new year in advance ✨ At this moment I presume that your tummy is getting well rested from much filling😅 and I’m on that table also😌. Stay jiggy comrades.

Lovesss ❤️❤️❤️.

Season’s greetings ✨
Enjoy 🍷
Merry Christmas ❤️

  1. I usually have the most of this kinda feeling… But I don’t do the chicken stuff aside from the eating…
And yeah, I miss the knockouts… The strands of broom to measure our legs… and then the shoes… The new clothes …
Woooo Christmas has changed with adulthood o…😔 But the joy is always there… 🥰
    Thank God for Jesus.
    Well done Sandra
